Who is Scott Martin, and why should you read his blog?

May 25, 2008

Hello guys, and welcome to my blog. As you can tell from the title of this post and the website itself, my name is Scott Martin. I am a web site developer, programmer, and internet marketer.

In an attempt not to bore you, I’ll briefly summarize how I came to be where I’m at today. I started out dabbling in HTML when I was 15. Then I moved on to bigger and better things programming in PHP. I’ve built tons of things including libraries, web sites (including an entire social network and my newest one Blue-Surf), and downloadable scripts. At this point in my life (at the fat ripened age of 22 :P) I’m expanding into online marketing.. which is probably how you found me.

In this blog, I’ll share with you my journey into internet marketing. I fully expect to become a successful online marketer because I give everything I do 100% effort. So I welcome you to follow along with me. Occasionally I’ll post some codes or scripts that you may find useful. I may also post my reviews of programs or ways to make money online. Along the line there may be an opinion or two (or 500).

I’m aware that my blog is only as good as I make it. So! I ask that you leave feedback, comment on my articles, and.. if you like what you see.. subscribe!

That should about do it for my introductory post. I look forward to writing more!

  2. Iago Said,

    Hey, Scott.

Cool. I’m coming into your blogsite when it is basically totally new. I started my Chaos Chasm II weblog for similar reasons in April, that is, as a kinda record of my journey in Internet marketing. Sometimes I find that I drift slightly (or maybe even much more than just “slightly”) away from that focus on this blog, but be that as it may, well, it’s a learning experience. In fact, I have also only recently stated up a Wordpress blog (there is only one entry on it so far), but my blogspot baby at CC2 will be where I can drift, I figure. More of my personality there, methinx.

I joined your Traffic exchange Blue Surf a numberof weeks ago or so, more or less once I had espied it a few times in the other TEs I use, and I gotta tell you, man, I like it. I rank it up there with some of my fabs, like I Love Hits, Traffic Splash, Bear Bones, et al. Very pro stuff.

I read the other two entires you have already posted It is May 27th at almost 6pm where I am, which is at my desk in the Bureau of Foreign Trade in a particular Asian country on a strategically-located island found off the coast of Fujian Province. I am an editing consultant for this government bureau of this little vibrant democracy. That being said, I gotta boogie off across the metropolis for a 7pm gig within the next 20 minutes or so. But I wanted to also add that I hear you on the safelist brouhaha. My first foray into that zone became a bit overwhelming, and I have only that section of one of my websites (mynetbiz.biz) to complete before said site is more or less “ready” for my liking.

Okay, enough for now. If you have a moment, I would appreciate a comment or two (or 500) on Chaos Chasm II. Later on. Over and out. Doug AKA Iago.
